Felipe Massa wants the podium in Monaco

The Italian teams best result so far in 2009 was Massas sixth place finish in Spain. Monaco should be a good turning point if all goes well said Massa.

Ferrari have been hit by problems this year with a number of other teams such as Brawn GP, Red Bull and Toyota storming ahead on the track with thanks to the new Formula 1 regulations which the the big guns such as Ferrari and Maclaren have found it hard to get used to.

They have threatened to quit the sport over the budget cap and so have other big named teams too. The two-tier championship proposed by the governing body the FIA have now filed an injunction to block the move.

Massas first points of the season in Spain were won with regret running in fourth because he was ordered to slow down to conserve fuel as he faced the threat of running out.

The Brazilians team mate Kimi Raikkonnen finished sixth in Bahrain and insists they can turn their season around.

Massa trails Brawns championship leader Jenson Button by 38 points but is determined Ferrari will fight until the end.
