Felipe Massa unlikely to return to Formula One this season

Felipe Massa is unlikely to return to Formula One this year due to the extended time needed for him to recover. Despite the traumatic incident which left him close to death during the qualifying period of the European Grand Prix, Massa is unfazed by the dangers of a return.In a recent interview with the Guardian newspaper when asked about doubts or fears in returning to driving he replied he had none.


“Ever since I was a small boy this is my life. This is what I like to do. So I really hope, and expect, nothing will change inside of me when I go back into the car and start pushing myself to the maximum again."
