Massa dreams of returning to driver's seat in December in kart

Rio de Janeiro - Brazilian Formula 1 driver Felipe Massa is planning to return to the track at the 500 Miles of Granja Viana, a traditional karting race that is held in Brazil in the early days of December each year. However, Brazilian media on Friday quoted him as saying that the final decision is up to his doctors. "I would like to be back on the track tomorrow, because I feel bored," Massa said. The Ferrari driver is recovering from a serious accident he suffered in July in tests prior to the Hungarian Grand Prix. As a result of the crash, Massa is set to miss the remainder of the 2009 Formula 1 season and according to Ferrari boss Luca di Montezemolo will not be back in the paddock till next year. During a visit to a Fiat assembly plant in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais on which Brazilian media reported Friday, Massa said he would like to race at Granja Viana but would only do so "if the doctors give their permission.""I am not the one to say when, it's the doctors and the FIA. The truth is I can (already) drive and everything is as it used to be, even my vision," he said.
